Previato Studio is a Sydney-based architecture and interiors practice creating thoughtful, character-filled homes and hospitality spaces across Australia.
At the studio, architecture and interiors are conceived as one seamless experience. Every project begins with understanding how people live, gather, work and unwind, creating homes and spaces that are deeply connected to the lives of those who inhabit them.
Led by registered architect and interior designer Fernanda Previato, the studio works across bespoke homes, apartment renovations, alterations and additions, heritage projects, new residential architecture, retail, restaurants, bars and boutique hotels.
Each project is shaped by its site, context and clients. Through extensive material research, thoughtful spatial planning and close collaboration, the studio develops highly tailored design responses that feel individual, enduring and rich in character.

Fernanda Previato is a registered architect and interior designer with more than two decades of international experience across residential, hospitality, retail, workplace and civic projects.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and now based in Sydney, Fernanda has worked across Australia, the Middle East, China and South America, bringing a global perspective to every project. Her career has included senior roles at leading design practices including HASSELL and YSG Studio, where she contributed to award-winning projects recognised for their strong narrative, materiality and attention to detail.
As both an architect and interior designer, Fernanda approaches every project holistically, ensuring architecture and interiors are considered together from the earliest stages of design. Her work is driven by a fascination with how people experience space and how materials, light and craftsmanship can shape daily life.
Fernanda values spatial experiences that are tactile, layered and alive, where materiality becomes a conversation and every detail invites engagement. Rather than following trends, she creates spaces that feel deeply personal, collected over time and connected to their context.
For Fernanda, every project is a dialogue between client, place and craft. Curiosity drives the process, intuition shapes the outcome and a deep respect for material honesty ensures that every space feels genuine, grounded and enduring.

Our work spans bespoke homes, apartment renovations, alterations and additions, semi-detached and terrace house transformations, heritage projects, hospitality venues and interior design. Depending on the project, we can provide architectural services, interior design, planning and approval pathways, development applications (DA), complying development certificates (CDC), consultant coordination, construction documentation, bespoke joinery design and contract administration.
